Atheris is a young fast growing company specialized in Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Internet of Things refers to multiple technical solutions improving efficiency, work safety and security in industries, smart-cities, argiculture, logistics, homes. We are dedicated to build awesome solutions for complex problematics and take part in the technological revolution that comes around the corner. To this end Atheris provides complete IoT integration services, and develop a data management system (Owlata). Integration and Owlata let us connect people and assets to business solutions, to optimize productivity and cost efficiency through user-friendly software.

The job

Your job, in the main lines will be to promote and sell our services and products in Belgium. Atheris is looking for a Business Developer with a passion for digitalization and technological challenges.
We expect you to do any tasks from outbound sales to closing deals as well as answering questions of inbound leads. You will take the lead in expanding our partners network and clients panel. You will have to understand the challenges our target customers are facing, and work closely with the tech team to provide adequate solutions. It is your goal to assist clients and partners in defining the right business cases to make their organizations future-proof. You’ll inspire them to innovate and stimulate them to implement smarter planning and safer operations.

Your profile

  • You master sales process
  • You have at least 1 years experience in a Business development or sales role
  • You instinctively spot opportunities to grow your customer’s business
  • You take initiatives and initiate new paths for partnerships
  • You manage the expectations of your prospects and customers
  • You have experience in negotiating complex deals
  • You have excellent communication & negotiation skills
  • You are fluent in French and English.
  • You are sales result driven
  • You can work autonomously
  • You are a technological enthousiast and eager to understand new technologies
  • You are organized & multitasked
  • You like to build strong and lasting relationships
  • You are pragmatic, curious, creative and wants to learn new skills
  • You are not afraid of taking responsibilities and making mistakes
  • You are persistent and you never give up
  • You are friendly, dynamic and have a positive mindset

The pluses

  • You speak Dutch or German
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree from a Business or Management school
  • You have an IT/Engineer background
  • You have worked with startups before

  • You are joining events & conference when it's needed
